About

Hi, I’m Orlagh.

I’m a visual information specialist with 20+ years of experience designing presentations, illustrations, and infographics for print and online formats. My specialty is taking information that can feel difficult (or boring) to communicate and distilling it into images and interactive experiences that people can quickly connect with.

My clients range in size from multi-national companies (like Google) to small agencies that service innovation and research processes (such as S3 Connected Health).

I can quickly visualise complex ideas and information and turn them into easily understood pieces of communication.

  • live illustration (graphic note recordings)

  • interactive graphics

  • detailed infographics for presentations

  • maps of research and development

  • storyboards and whiteboard animations

  • rapid prototyping for product innovation

  • customer journey timelines

  • design thinking strategising

  • online visual consultation sessions

  • training and workshops

I approach every project with an open mind and a fresh perspective because I want your event or training to be engaging and memorable.

I’m based in Cork, Ireland but thanks to the magic of technology my clients live everywhere. We can work together (seamlessly and conveniently) no matter your location.

Whether our time together is virtual or in-person, I’ll make your life (and the lives of your audience and team members) easier with bespoke illustrations and graphics that bring your ideas to life!

My background…

  • I’m a former brainiac nerd turned visual thinker. I love ideas, business, philosophy, and how they ‘become real’ in the world through visualisation and stories.

  • As a teenager in the nineties, I made 8 bit animations on an Amiga game computer.

  • My Masters degree explored emotions and merged my interests in somatics and data visualisation

  • Volunteering on a helpline taught me the power of asking open and closed questions.

  • Graphic recording (also called‘ live scribing ‘) involves Ninja-level curiosity, interpretation, and communication skills.
