Hire me to help facilitate a creative and productive event.

I can team up with your facilitator or fly solo—guiding a team session with specific goals. Workshops can take place either in-person or virtually—they’re a great way to bring your people together and unlock connection and action around a group endeavor.

For the past 20+ years, I’ve worked for some of the world’s most iconic brands as a live scribe and information design specialist.

I know how great events are planned and delivered.

If you want to create an event that builds your culture, boosts creative problem-solving, organises important priorities, or boosts communication and productivity, we should talk.

A well-planned creative gathering can do all of that.

Want to know some of my secret ingredients for an event that people look forward to?

Collaborative and creative tools such as:

  • whiteboards

  • quizzes

  • interactive games

  • visual templates

  • minimal use of slides

  • creative check-ins and check-outs

Visual facilitation can help people do their best work together.

I have deep knowledge and experience facilitating creative methods that pull people together to learn new skills, work collaboratively, and align their thinking with an exciting vision.

I’ve personally planned and delivered hundreds of workshops as lecturer for undergraduates in University of the Arts London and the UCD Innovation Academy.

Online Workshops

As a lecturer with University College Dublin (UCD) Innovation Academy, I have planned and delivered online workshops with co-facilitators to groups of up to 35 learners.

We employ a wide-ranging suite of online activities, collaborative digital tools, and fun conversation inputs—examples include Kahoot, Wheel Decide, Mural, Padlet, and Canva.

Also—when everything went online during lockdown—I worked with an Irish government department to design a workshop mapping out their services. We created a shareable map for all the stakeholders to agree on next-stage changes.

In-Person Workshops

In March 2020, facilitator Moze Jacobs and I designed and delivered ‘Dreamin’ Skibbereen’ held in UIlinn Art Centre.

The primary goal was to open an ideation, meditation, and mapping process to seed ideas for town development. The result was a thoughtful and creative session—with the outputs packaged into a visual PowerPoint that was shared with stakeholders and community members.

Training

With lockdown and increased remote working, there is a huge need for teams to use more engaging approaches to meetings that include visual tools.

My design services already hook into remote working contexts, so the training is an extension of these.

In May 2021, fellow UCD IA facilitator Clare Mulvany and I independently designed and ran a 5-week course called The Art of Online Facilitation’and delivered to 20+ participants. See more here.

Creative Confidence - Learning to Sketch Together

This an hour-long group experience that entertains while educating (edutains) your team to explore creative ways of working together through sketching and drawing.

I’ll share drawing tips and ideation techniques that help your group innovate (and have a blast in the process)!

Get ready to see and communicate about the world through a pencil!

I guarantee your team hasn’t enjoyed a collaborative and creative work session like this before!
